Judd Trump MBE (born August 20, 1989) is an English professional snooker player who is a former world champion and the current world number one. Widely regarded as one of the sport’s most talented players, he is currently in fourth place on the list of all-time ranking event winners, having won 30 ranking titles. He has also won five Triple Crown titles.
Early Life and Career
Judd Trump was born in Whitchurch, Bristol, England. He began playing snooker at a young age and quickly showed promise, winning the English Under-13 and Under-15 titles. He reached the World Under-21 Championship semi-finals at the age of 14. Trump turned professional in 2005 and won his maiden ranking title at the 2011 China Open.
