Asher Dov Angel (born September 6, 2002) is an American actor and singer. He is best known for his role as Jonah Beck in the Disney Channel series Andi Mack and as Billy Batson in the DC Extended Universe film Shazam!.

Asher Angel was born on September 6, 2002, in Phoenix, Arizona. He grew up in Paradise Valley, Arizona, with his parents, Jody and Coco Angel, and his two younger siblings. Angel is of Jewish descent and has been passionate about acting and music from a young age. He began his acting career at the age of 5, appearing in the film Jolene (2008) alongside Jessica Chastain.
Breakthrough Role
Angel’s breakthrough role came in 2017 when he was cast as Jonah Beck in the Disney Channel series Andi Mack. The show ran until 2019 and earned Angel widespread recognition for his performance.
